The hotel or restaurant website, the menu, the QR code for payment, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Tripadvisor…
So many links to lose the user in the buying process. That’s why I’m inviting you today to take a look at landing pages.

The ‘Landing Page’ is an intermediary page that filters and directs users (your customers) to the precise information they are looking for!

It must be user-friendly, compatible with all browsers, suitable for all devices (PCs, MACs, tablets, smartphones) and, above all, quick to display.

Once it’s been generated and set up, all the user has to do is press the button of their choice to access the site, social network or resource that interests them!
You have two ways of creating this landing page:

Dedicated websites:

These offer the possibility of creating this landing page in just a few clicks!

Advantages: simplicity, design, versioning (we’re sure it will be compatible on all screens now and in the future! )
Disadvantages: we’re not in control of the tool, so it’s limited in terms of functionality, and if a site crashes (gets bought out/hacked or whatever happens … ), the link won’t work any more:

  • If one day the site closes down, you’ll have to update all your links.
  • You are often less free to customise the content and form…

We particularly recommend :

Canva and its ‘link in bio’ function:

Simple like a charm (and like all the tools developed by Canva) gives you the option of choosing from its 36 templates the one that best suits your business.
The tool is specially designed for beginners and offers the option of creating it by dragging and dropping (you choose a template, customise the buttons, click on publish and retrieve the link to use it)

In the same way, we find Linktree

And “Later”

And yet another non-exhaustive list

Developed by a web agency … or by yourself!

It will take longer or cost you more, but you will be freer to do what you want with it.
Unlike pre-built sites, if you want to set up tracking of scans, you’ll need to use a dedicated site (URL shortener) or set up Google Analytics (RGPD banner setup), or Matomo Analytics.

The cost of using an agency should be affordable (½ day at the most), and here’s an example that you can retrieve, edit and modify as you wish, or send to the agency in question!

How can it be exploited?

We are not obliged to generate just one landing page. You can create as many as you like and distribute them all over the place: this is the case with the model above, which can be placed in Michelin-starred establishments to earn points:

  • Eco-responsible: by minimising physical/paper journals.
  • Rating: Offering newspapers is part of the ranking standards.
  • Financial: Internet users are redirected to a source that may be free (20 minutes financed by advertising, for example).

What about you? Are you already using landing pages? Let us know what you think in the comments 🙂
